Yamazaki

First Society bottling in 2004.

This distillery is situated where three streams converge to form the Yodogawa River. As the water of the streams is at different temperatures, the atmosphere is very humid, ideal for the maturation of fine whiskies. It recently re-opened after having been closed for two years to increase its capacity for producing different styles of whisky.
